What if you could take the crew network and relationships you’ve spent years building and use them to shape labor operations for a rapidly growing national roofing business?

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of one of the most important functions within a technology-led contractor operating at significant scale.

You’ll have direct access to senior leadership, the backing of an established national operation and the freedom to build the installer network needed for its next stage of growth.

What’s in it for you
This is not a position where you’ll simply maintain a list of subcontractors or fill occasional labor gaps.

You’ll shape the company’s national labor strategy, strengthen its existing installation capacity and build in-house crews that provide greater control over quality, availability and performance.

More importantly, it gives you genuine influence over how a growing national contractor enters markets, responds to demand and delivers work at scale.
Perform well and your impact will be visible across the entire business.

The opportunity
The company currently delivers projects through a substantial subcontractor network and is investing in the next phase of its labor operation. Your mandate will be clear, create the dependable installation capacity needed to meet demand nationwide.

You’ll source, recruit, qualify and onboard roofing crews while developing lasting relationships with installers across multiple markets. You’ll strengthen the existing subcontractor network, reactivate valuable industry connections and recruit new crews wherever coverage needs to improve.

Alongside this, you’ll help build in-house installation teams from the ground up, establishing the recruiting, onboarding and training processes required to make them successful.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership and operations to forecast labor demand, identify coverage gaps and ensure reliable crews are available when and where the business needs them.

What you’ll bring
  • You’ll currently work for, or have recently worked with, a large regional, multistate or national roofing contractor where you have actively managed installation labor at scale.

  • Have experience sourcing, recruiting, onboarding and retaining roofing crews or construction labor.

  • You’ll understand what makes installers stay, how to protect important crew relationships and how to build capacity in markets where dependable labor is difficult to find.

  • An established network of roofing crews and subcontractor relationships is essential.

  • Spanish fluency is required.

  • You’ll also be commercially aware, highly organized and confident working directly with senior leadership. This role needs someone who takes ownership, moves quickly and can turn relationships into reliable installation capacity.
