Opportunity Overview
- Join a commercial roofing contractor with more than 50 years of industry experience.
- Work on commercial roofing projects including new construction, replacements and restoration/coatings.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management and General Contractors throughout the bidding process.
- Use industry-leading estimating software and modern technology to produce competitive, accurate bids.
- Office-based role in Memphis with regular site visits to support accurate project pricing.
Your Role
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial roofing projects from plans, specifications and site visits.
- Complete accurate take-offs and develop competitive bid proposals.
- Build pricing using labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor quotations.
- Work directly with Project Managers, Sales teams and General Contractors throughout the bid process.
- Maintain historical cost data to improve future estimating accuracy.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience.
- Proficiency using The EDGE estimating software.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications and bid documents.
- Experience estimating commercial new construction and/or re-roofing projects.
- Valid driver's license.
