You will be trusted to manage the full bid process, from architectural drawings and digital takeoffs through cost analysis, proposal delivery, and project handoff.

Opportunity Overview

This is a 40+ year commercial roofing contractor based in Denver, Colorado.

The company delivers a mix of commercial roofing projects, industrial re-roofs, and commercial service contracts.

The estimating department supports work across low-slope and flat roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, and metal.

The role is onsite in Aurora and will involve a mix of office-based estimating, site inspections, vendor pricing, client interaction, and internal project handoff.
 

Your Role

• Manage the full commercial roofing estimating process from bid review through proposal submission

• Complete accurate digital takeoffs from architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications

• Calculate material, labor, equipment, safety, production, vendor, and subcontractor costs

• Conduct site inspections, roof walks, measurements, core samples, and condition assessments

• Source supplier pricing and secure competitive subcontractor quotations

• Prepare and present professional proposals to General Contractors, building owners, and property managers

• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure clean project handoffs after award
   

Key Requirements

• 3-5+ years of dedicated commercial roofing estimating experience

• Strong knowledge of low-slope and flat roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, and metal

• Ability to read architectural drawings, blueprints, specifications, and bid documents

• Experience using digital takeoff software and CRM or project management systems

• Valid driver’s license for site visits and client meetings
