Your Role
  • Develop and grow commercial service accounts that convert to re-roof projects
  • Target portfolio owners spending $24K+ annually in service
  • Build relationships with property managers, associations, and complex asset owners
  • Track activity and pipeline through structured sales metrics
  • Hand off detailed scoping to inspectors and production so you can keep selling


Company Overview
You would be joining a long established, privately held commercial roofing contractor that has been operating since the early 1980s. 

It is a stable, mid-sized business with a strong service division and a healthy reroof portfolio, and there is a clear plan to continue growing from its current level.

The company operates from a single Chicagoland facility with a sizeable field team during peak season. 

The work is entirely commercial, heavily weighted toward service and reroof, with very little exposure to ground up new construction.

The focus is on more complex, technical projects rather than low bid commodity work, which allows margins to be maintained and relationships to be valued.

Culturally, it is structured and performance focused.  You will have autonomy in the field to build relationships and win work, but you are part of a team with a clear base and consistent presence in the office.


Key Requirements
  • 3+ years commercial construction B2B sales experience
  • Experience selling to property managers and commercial building owners
  • Comfortable prospecting and building new accounts
