Lead the Estimating Function of an Expanding Platform
You’ll take ownership of estimating, manage a team of two, and be responsible for making sure the department runs properly.
This isn’t a standalone role. You’ll be part of the leadership group, working directly with operations, sales, and senior management to support how the business grows. Estimating is a key part of that, not a support function.
The business is a private equity backed commercial roofing platform that’s already past $100M and continuing to grow. It’s building out its structure as it scales, with support, clear direction, and the backing to do the job properly. You’re trusted to take control of your area and make it work.
As the platform grows, there’s room to develop with it. Training, mentorship, and progression are there, but the focus is simple. Run the function well and play a key part in how the business moves forward.

Your Role
- Lead a team of 2 estimators, owning performance, output, and standards
- Oversee the full estimating function, ensuring accurate, commercially sound bids
- Prepare and review detailed estimates, taking ownership of pricing and strategy
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure clean handover, scope clarity, and budget alignment

Key Requirements
- 5+ years’ commercial roofing estimating experience
- Strong track record on complex, spec-driven projects
- Solid knowledge of TPO, EPDM, PVC, and metal systems
- Experience leading or mentoring others
- Estimating Edge preferred, not essential
