Quality Control & Training Specialist – Commercial Roofing
Location:
Helena, OH
Salary: $70,000 to $80,000

Set the standard. Train the crews. Protect the quality of every roof installed.

This is a hands-on field quality role for an experienced commercial roofing professional who knows what “good” looks like and can raise standards across multiple crews as the business scales.

Backed by a growing national platform, the company is expanding across Ohio and surrounding states and investing heavily in quality control and training. This role exists to ensure growth does not dilute installation quality, safety, or manufacturer compliance.

You will be in the field daily, working across active job sites to inspect installations, correct issues in real time, and train crews to consistently meet specification standards.

This is not a desk-based QA role. It is a boots-on-roof position focused on protecting workmanship, reducing callbacks, and improving crew performance.

Benefits

• Field vehicle and equipment
• Healthcare coverage
• 401(k)
• PTO
• Manufacturer training opportunities
• Stable, growing platform-backed business

Your Role

• Conduct in-progress and final QC inspections on commercial roofing projects
• Train crews on Duro-Last installation and manufacturer specifications
• Identify defects and ensure corrective work is completed to standard
• Support development of QC checklists and training materials
• Work with field leadership to improve installation quality and reduce rework

• 3–5 years commercial roofing experience in QC, supervision, or training
• Strong hands-on Duro-Last installation experience
• Knowledge of EPDM, TPO, PVC, BUR, or modified bitumen systems
