Opportunity Overview
The company is a commercial roofing contractor operating across multiple states, with its project management team based at headquarters.
This Missouri project covers two large data centre buildings totalling approximately 7,500 squares of roofing and runs for six months from October 15, making it one of the largest projects the business has taken on.
The company delivers the roofing package for the general contractor, with site leadership made up of a Superintendent, a Safety Officer and a Project Engineer.
The Project Manager oversees the job from headquarters, and the Project Engineer acts as the on-site link between the subcontractor crews, the GC and the company's project management team.

Your Role
- Lead day to day site coordination as the Project Manager's eyes and ears on the ground
- Act as the primary filter between subcontractor crews, the GC and the project management team
- Own material tracking and shop drawing review across both buildings
- Keep project documentation accurate, current and ready for scrutiny
- Represent the company in GC and stakeholder meetings
- Build a strong, accountable team environment on site with the Superintendent and Safety Officer
Key Requirements
- Project Engineer or similar experience with a general contractor or commercial roofing contractor
- Confident reviewing shop drawings and tracking materials on large commercial projects
- Professional and credible in meetings with senior project stakeholders
