With more than 30 years in the New York roofing and waterproofing market, this family-owned contractor offers the stability of an established business and the opportunity to build a long-term career.
Their projects range from commercial buildings and academic facilities to luxury residential properties and landmark restorations, with work exceeding $10M.

Their approach is simple. Invest in their people, deliver quality work and build relationships that last. Several employees have been with the business for decades, giving you access to a depth of experience that is difficult to find elsewhere.

For an Assistant Project Manager, this creates an opportunity to learn directly from experienced leadership, develop your technical knowledge and build toward managing projects of your own. You’ll gain exposure across the business, with support as you take on more responsibility.

What's in it for you:
Your next move should give you the experience, guidance and responsibility to move your career forward. This role puts you alongside an experienced Project Manager and established field leadership who can help you develop.

Alongside a competitive salary and benefits package, you'll:
  • Build toward a Project Manager position as your skills and experience grow
  • Work on varied New York projects, including multimillion-dollar roofing and waterproofing work
  • Receive direct mentorship from experienced project managers and field leadership
  • Gain exposure to estimating, procurement, client relationships and project delivery
  • Join a close-knit business with accessible leadership and strong employee retention

The role:
You’ll support the delivery of roofing and waterproofing projects from estimating handoff into execution across the New York metro area.

You’ll coordinate submittals and project paperwork, review drawings, track material orders and lead times, support site walkthroughs and keep communication flowing between the office and field teams.

The role also gives you direct exposure to clients, manufacturers and suppliers, helping you develop the technical understanding and relationships needed to become an effective Project Manager.

What you'll bring:
  • Ideally 2+ years of roofing or waterproofing experience in assistant project management, project coordination or a related technical role
  • Ability to read drawings and understand project details and construction sequencing
  • Strong organization and attention to material requirements and lead times
  • Confidence communicating with clients, field teams, manufacturers and suppliers
  • A proactive approach, accountability and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in-office in Queens and attend local project sites

Candidates with around one year of relevant experience and a strong technical foundation will also be considered.
