With more than a century of waterproofing and masonry experience behind them, this business has helped build, protect and restore some of the Northeast’s most recognizable buildings. Their portfolio includes work at Gillette Stadium, Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Longwood Medical School and Boston’s Harbor Towers. For a project manager who wants work they can be proud to put their name to, there is plenty here to get excited about.

The business brings together the heritage of The Waterproofing Company and the masonry construction and restoration expertise of Phoenix Bay State Construction. Together, they offer waterproofing, masonry and historic restoration services, combining specialist knowledge across several of the most demanding parts of the building envelope.

From coordinating new masonry construction to planning the restoration of an existing façade, you’ll be working through challenges where the materials, sequencing and quality of delivery make a lasting difference.

What's in it for you:
You’ve built your experience understanding how buildings go together, how crews operate and what it takes to keep a difficult job moving. This is an opportunity to bring that experience into a business with a substantial project portfolio and specialist capabilities across the building envelope.

Alongside a comprehensive benefits package, you’ll:

  • Join an established contractor with a long history in the Northeast
  • Work within a safety program supported by dedicated field safety professionals
  • Have access to resources, funding and training not available anywhere else
  • Be given access to a streamlined progression ladder within the business

The role:
You’ll manage masonry, restoration and waterproofing projects, bringing together the planning, people and materials needed to deliver work safely, to the required quality and against production goals.

You’ll review drawings, specifications and architectural designs, establish the sequence of work and identify practical challenges before they affect delivery. Working closely with Operations, you’ll determine material and manpower requirements, estimate time to completion and coordinate the different trades involved.

Schedules of Work and Schedules of Value will sit within your remit. You’ll track project performance, recognize when delays or change orders are affecting the plan, and put recovery measures in place while there is still time to make a difference.

What you'll bring:
  • 5+ years of masonry experience, with a strong background in masonry, restoration and waterproofing
  • Experience working on large projects and a strong understanding of building envelope construction
  • The ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and architectural designs in both digital and hard-copy formats
  • A Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License
  • OSHA 10-hour training, with OSHA 30 preferred
